G Ashley Inc is hiring an Assistant Technical Designer for its Merchandising department in Secaucus, New Jersey. The role supports technical design and product development by maintaining garment tech packs, documenting construction and fit details, measuring samples, entering measurements and revisions into PLM, and assisting with fittings and specification updates. Candidates need at least one year of technical design experience, relevant education or training, and proficiency with PLM, Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and advanced Excel. This is a non-exempt, on-site position based in the Secaucus office five days per week, with compensation of $50,000 based on a 40-hour workweek.
