Old Dominion University is hiring a full-time Assistant Vice President of Research and AI Enablement in Norfolk, Virginia. The role leads research computing, AI/ML, digital product development, and scalable research environments; connects research, teaching, learning, and operational innovation; and partners with researchers, faculty, security, and institutional stakeholders. It requires a relevant PhD, research and digital-innovation leadership experience, cloud and high-performance computing expertise, and AI/ML experience. The position is hybrid, with a 40-hour work week, and requires a criminal history check.
