Description
The Purchasing Assistant will research and negotiate with product suppliers, collect prices and quotations, monitor promotional campaigns, maintain product and purchase records, prepare management reports, identify alternative suppliers, and occasionally visit stores to check product execution and display. The role requires a completed higher education degree, preferably prior purchasing experience, and skills in calculation, negotiation, planning, logical reasoning, systems thinking, and interpersonal relationships; occasional travel is required.
