Description
The Health Actuary manages actuarial methods, systems, models, and assumptions for premium and claim projections, pricing, liabilities, regulatory filings, provider risk-sharing arrangements, and ASO PBM pricing. The role supports underwriting, marketing, information technology, and other departments; provides actuarial staff development; and requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, five years of health actuary experience, ASA and Academy of Actuaries membership, and expertise in Excel and SQL.
