The Hanover is hiring a full-time, exempt Associate Actuary for its Personal Lines team in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Michigan in a hybrid work arrangement. The role leads actuarial projects, performs pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics; recommends improvements to ratemaking and reserve processes; prepares experience exhibits and systems specifications; responds to insurance department inquiries; ensures regulatory compliance; and mentors junior team members. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of technical experience across multiple lines of business or actuarial disciplines, an ACAS designation or equivalent experience, advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills, and intermediate programming skills, preferably SQL.
