The Senior Executive Service position advises the Maritime Administrator on maritime education, technical training, credentialing, apprenticeships, and workforce development; coordinates with maritime labor organizations, operators, port authorities, regulators, and professional associations; represents the Administrator at government and industry meetings; and oversees the Office of Maritime Labor and Training’s education and workforce initiatives.
