Description
The Associate Broker (Marine Cargo Broker Trainee) supports senior brokers with marine cargo insurance operations, including policy issuance, carrier submissions, quote analysis, compliance documentation, RFP coordination, invoicing, account management, and CRM and ECLIPSE/RADAR data entry. The role also requires maintaining a book of smaller accounts and direct placement activity with insurance markets. Candidates need a high school diploma, 1–2 years of broking experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to obtain a broker’s license within the first three months. The position offers a base salary of $80,000–$100,000 USD per year, an annual short-term incentive bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package; visa sponsorship is not offered.
