Description
The Associate Buyer assists a Buyer in developing and executing merchandise stock assortments, promotional plans, open-to-buy strategies, vendor negotiations, order placement, inventory replenishment, and merchandising performance analysis for assigned retail departments. The role may supervise Assistant Buyers, Merchandisers, or Pricing Specialists and requires five years of experience, including three years of general retail experience and two years of progressively responsible procurement and merchandising experience.
