Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a Flexi (On-Call) Associate Chaplain to provide spiritual care for patients, families, and staff across Sentara hospitals in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The role includes crisis intervention, bereavement support, advance care planning, end-of-life decision-making, grief support, religious rites, interdisciplinary care-team participation, and documentation of pastoral care. It requires a rotating on-call schedule with Sunday-through-Thursday and weekend shifts, including some Sunday day shifts, and requires a bachelor’s degree in Religion & Theology and one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education in a hospital, nursing home, or clinical setting. Hospital experience is preferred. The base pay range for full-time employment is $64,833.60 to $96,928.00 annually, with additional compensation possible.
