Description
The role performs varied and complex laboratory procedures independently, detects and reports instrumental, sample, or test-system failures, operates and may maintain test equipment, interprets initial data, and records, compiles, and reduces laboratory data in real time. Duties include working with analytical equipment, environmental samples, glassware, and safety controls, with physical requirements including prolonged standing, lifting up to 60 pounds, and working in a freezer. A chemistry or related bachelor's degree and six months of laboratory experience are preferred; alternatively, four to five years of relevant laboratory experience may substitute. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.
