Description
The Associate Chemist prepares and analyzes environmental samples, including metals, PFAS, HRMS, and other environmental disciplines, using standard analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation. The role involves sample preparation, chemical analysis, data evaluation, instrument maintenance, quality-control sampling, documentation, and laboratory housekeeping under close supervision. It is a second-shift position from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, with first-shift training Monday through Friday. The position requires a chemistry or related degree, an associate degree, or two years of related laboratory experience; pay is $18–$19 per hour plus a 10% shift differential, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid-time-off benefits.
