Description

The Associate Chemist prepares and analyzes environmental samples using instrumental wet-chemistry methods, including organic and metals preparation, PFAS and HRMS sample preparation, gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, radio chemistry, and high- and low-resolution analysis. The role performs routine laboratory tasks, data evaluation, instrument maintenance, quality-control sampling, documentation, and housekeeping while working under close supervision. It is a third-shift position from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with Monday-to-Friday first-shift training, and pays $18–$19 per hour plus a 10% shift differential. The position requires a chemistry or related bachelor's or associate degree, or two years of related laboratory experience, English proficiency, and U.S. work authorization; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) match, paid holidays, and paid time off.
