The Associate Collections Manager will support a three-year National Endowment for the Humanities project focused on improving records and documentation for archaeological objects related to the Battle of Yorktown. The role involves cataloging and verifying object records, managing loans between the Mariners' Museum and Park and the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, tracking object movement, overseeing a partial inventory, preparing records for digitization, and promoting collections management. It is a full-time, salary-exempt position with an annual salary of $55,000, benefits including health insurance contributions, paid leave, and a 403(b) retirement match, and requires relevant collections-management experience and the ability to work in the United States.
