Clifford Chance is hiring an experienced associate for its Corporate Transactions & Advisory group in Houston, with a primary focus on upstream, midstream, and broader oil and gas transactions. The role involves advising on domestic and international energy transactions across the full oil and gas value chain, including acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, project development, infrastructure transactions, and complex commercial arrangements. The associate will independently manage transaction workstreams, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, communicate with clients and opposing counsel, and provide practical, business-oriented advice. The position requires a J.D., active Texas Bar membership or eligibility to waive into the Texas Bar, and at least three years of law firm experience in oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, or natural resources transactions.
