BlackRock's Veterans Transition Program offers veterans a six-month opportunity to work in cybersecurity, transitioning them into a permanent role. Participants will join a global team of cyber security experts, focusing on incident investigation, threat detection, and mitigation. Responsibilities include acting as an escalation point for security incidents, performing daily reviews of alerts, mentoring junior team members, investigating high-severity threats, collaborating with technical teams, providing guidance on response actions, assisting with containment and remediation, developing new use cases for SIEM logic, participating in threat hunting, aiding forensic investigations, and contributing to policy creation.
