Description
BlackRock is hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms, pipelines, ingestion, transformation, and publishing processes. The role involves developing reusable engineering frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, governance, lineage, and observability, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to CI/CD and technical standards. It requires strong programming experience in Python, Java, and Scala, large-scale distributed data engineering, Snowflake, SQL, cloud and hybrid environments, data governance, and tools such as dbt, Databricks, and Great Expectations. The position follows a hybrid model requiring at least four days in the office per week.
