Description
Egis is hiring a Design Assurance Engineer to support National Grid BP141 design assurance across HV Plant, Substation Civil, Protection & Control, Relay Settings, HV Cable, Overhead Lines, and Commissioning Officer disciplines. The role involves assisting with optioneering, FEED, and detailed design projects, shadowing BP188 design reviews, completing design pack DCAAR, participating in design reviews, and coordinating with stakeholders and other engineering disciplines. Candidates need at least five years of National Grid project design experience, relevant infrastructure design or technical approval experience, and willingness to pursue BP141 authorisation. The position is home-based with the option to work from Omnia offices in Stafford, Stockton Heath, or Northallerton, requires travel throughout the United Kingdom, and offers full-time or part-time working hours.
