Rapid7 is hiring an Associate SOC Analyst in Melbourne to support its APAC managed detection and response service. The role involves reviewing alert data, investigating and triaging high-priority security events, conducting incident response and root-cause analysis, documenting findings, communicating with customer advisors, and contributing to attack-methodology knowledge and product feedback. The position requires 1–2 years of cybersecurity experience, with SOC or SIEM analysis experience preferred, along with knowledge of Windows and Linux, security concepts, hands-on cybersecurity challenges, scripting, and customer-focused problem solving.
