SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts is hiring an on-campus, in-person Associate Director of Recruiting & Admissions, Visual Arts to lead undergraduate and graduate visual art recruitment and admissions. The role manages prospective-student engagement, auditions, portfolio reviews, campus visits, scholarship strategy, enrollment goals, faculty partnerships, admission processes, and student transition activities, while hiring and supervising student workers. A bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s is preferred, and at least three years of higher education, music education, arts administration, student recruitment, admissions, or related experience is required. The position may require evening and weekend work during peak admission season and travel to conferences.
