Description
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist assists the executive director with API’s regulatory, legislative, and local government affairs, including issue identification, program development, stakeholder engagement, coalition building, testimony preparation, and communications. The role requires 7 to 10 years of similar experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, knowledge of state and local government operations, and strong written, oral, and analytical skills; petroleum and natural gas industry knowledge is preferred. The position involves up to 25% travel and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
