AstraZeneca is hiring an Associate Director, CMC Lead to lead early-stage CMC strategy for a portfolio of alpha-emitting, tumor-targeted radioconjugate medicines. The role covers Phase 0 CMC strategy, IND/IMPD regulatory readiness, API, drug product, and analytical development, clinical supply planning, portfolio prioritization, and cross-functional enablement. Candidates need at least seven years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical product development and manufacturing experience, a bachelor's degree, and experience managing early-phase CMC development; radiopharmaceutical and radioconjugate experience is desirable. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and annual base pay of $136,514 to $204,771 USD, with health, dental, and vision coverage.
