AbbVie is hiring an Associate Director, Data Semantic Governance to establish and operate enterprise-wide semantic governance, data quality, metadata, master data, lineage, and AI-ready data standards. The role partners with business, analytics, data operations, and IT teams; defines governance frameworks and AI agent templates; monitors data health; and represents the function in executive forums. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least seven years of progressive data governance, business data architecture, or data management experience, and expertise in data governance platforms, MDM, data modeling, SQL, and cloud ecosystems. The position is eligible for long-term incentive programs and offers medical, dental, and vision insurance.
