Associate Director/Director, Contracts and Alliances at Calico

Calico is hiring an experienced R&D Contracts and Business Development Manager to support external collaborations and internal research activities. The role drafts, negotiates, and finalizes sponsored research agreements, licenses, CDAs, MTAs, MSAs, CDMO and manufacturing contracts, consulting agreements, software agreements, and related amendments; manages active scientific collaborations; coordinates with legal and IP counsel; and improves contract templates and workflows. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, extensive industry or academic experience in contracts negotiation or business development, R&D agreement experience, and at least four days onsite per week. The estimated base salary is $215,000–$260,000, with two annual cash bonuses.
