Description
The MEP Facilities Manager oversees the planning, scheduling, assignment, supervision, and review of building maintenance, MEP contractor work, and complex facilities projects. The role manages HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and MEP systems; reviews blueprints and construction documents; prepares cost estimates and reports; coordinates with contractors, departments, and university stakeholders; develops policies and procedures; and supervises staff and student employees. It is based in Youngstown, reports to the Director of Facilities Engineering, and requires a bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience or an associate degree with six years of related experience, plus EPA Section 608, Backflow Prevention Testing, and Ohio State Stationary Engineer’s License or equivalent certifications.
