Description
The PPD Laboratory Services Manager supervises group leaders, scientists, and medical technologists in a fully onsite bioanalytical laboratory in Richmond, Virginia. The role manages laboratory operations, resources, scheduling, technical and compliance issues, quality systems, audits, SOPs, budgets, forecasting, revenue recognition, billing, and project profitability. It also supports client and regulatory interactions, technical sales and marketing, strategic planning, and business development. Candidates need comparable experience to 10+ years, at least 5 years of management responsibility, leadership and coaching skills, and knowledge of laboratory, regulatory, analytical, and fiscal requirements. The position requires U.S. work authorization without sponsorship, a background check, and drug screening.
