Description
AECOM is hiring an Associate Director Mechanical Engineering for its Water Team in Scotland. The role leads mechanical design and construction support for water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and infrastructure projects; acts as mechanical lead and overall design lead; manages scopes, proposals, estimates, programmes, budgets, and multidisciplinary delivery; verifies drawings and technical data; supports site surveys and client, contractor, and supplier liaison; and mentors engineers. The position is based in a Scotland office with hybrid work, including work-from-home days, and requires a mechanical engineering degree, Chartered Engineer status, and hands-on water and wastewater engineering experience.
