Description

Teva is hiring an Associate Director, Medical Coding to lead and oversee medical coding infrastructure and activities for clinical development programs across Phase I to Phase IV. The role focuses on ensuring complete, accurate, and consistent coding for clinical trials, maintaining MedDRA and WHODrug conventions, managing coding systems and vendors, driving process improvement, and supervising direct reports in a global pharmaceutical environment.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in science, or PharmD with medical/clinical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of medical coding experience in a pharmaceutical or clinical research setting
Management and supervisory experience in a global setting
Vendor and CRO management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Process improvement, project management, and budget experience
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of industry trends in pharmaceutical coding
Expert knowledge of MedDRA, WHODrug, and related coding standards/tools
Working knowledge of coding systems such as Rave Coder, Veeva Vault, and TMS
Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines
Information technology orientation
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience working in a global, multicultural virtual environment
