Description
Avalyn is hiring an Associate Director, Nonclinical Development to support the preclinical and clinical development of its inhaled anti-fibrotic pipeline. Reporting to the VP of Translational Sciences, the role leads pharmacology, translational research, nonclinical study planning and oversight, biomarker qualification, bioanalysis, regulatory document preparation, and cross-functional integration of nonclinical evidence. The position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, 7–10 plus years of relevant industry experience, expertise in pulmonary fibrosis and respiratory pharmacology, and strong scientific writing and communication skills. The proposed pay range is $179,000–$202,000 USD.
