Description
The Associate Director of Scientific Communications, Hematology at Alexion is responsible for developing and executing strategic publication and medical education plans for hematology therapeutic areas. The role partners with internal teams such as research, clinical development, commercial, biostatistics, and medical affairs, and with external authors, investigators, publishers, and agencies to deliver high-quality abstracts, posters, oral presentations, manuscripts, slide decks, literature summaries, and competitor assessments. The position requires advanced scientific training, at least 3 years of relevant pharmaceutical or medical communications experience, strong scientific writing and publication planning skills, and the ability to interpret complex clinical and statistical data.
