Description
AECOM is hiring an Associate Director – Overhead Line to provide project technical leadership for overhead transmission projects up to 400kV. The role leads overhead line design, engineering and design activities, project scope and resourcing, technical delivery, client management, bids and proposals, statutory planning, public consultation, and project implementation. Responsibilities include PLS-CADD modelling, line routing, structural analysis, sag-tension calculations, conductor and insulator selection, thermal ratings, and feasibility studies. The position requires a CEng qualification, an engineering or power engineering degree, transmission operator project experience, fluent English and Spanish, and overhead line engineering experience; LCDAE/CDAE qualifications are desirable.
