AstraZeneca is hiring an Associate Director, Packaging Tech Transfer Lead to provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for packaging technology transfers across its internal manufacturing network and external partners. The role covers vial, APFS, and autoinjector presentations, including labelling, secondary packaging, device assembly, site readiness, GMP and regulatory compliance, process validation, risk management, shipping qualification, and digital transfer enablement. Candidates need 5–10 years of relevant CMC, pharmaceutical packaging, technology transfer, or manufacturing science experience, a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
