Description
The Associate Director for Philanthropy – Engagement & Pipeline Development is a frontline relationship-builder focused on assessing alumni and friends’ philanthropic interest, readiness, and alignment with the University of Memphis. The role conducts discovery and relationship-warming conversations, qualifies prospects, documents outcomes in a CRM, and partners with Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Engagement, and academic leaders to move prospects through the philanthropic pipeline. It requires frequent travel, occasional overnight travel, and some evening and weekend activities, along with a bachelor’s degree and strong relationship-building, listening, assessment, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
