AECOM is hiring an Associate Director to lead and grow its planning consents team across Bristol, Chesterfield, and Manchester. The role combines team leadership, mentoring, major development applications and DCO processes, strategic planning advice, project management, quality assurance, client and stakeholder relations, and commercial tender preparation. Candidates need significant experience leading planning-consent applications for large infrastructure projects, a degree in town planning or a related discipline, and membership in the Royal Town Planning Institute or an equivalent professional body; expert witness experience is advantageous. The position follows a hybrid working policy and may involve work from an AECOM office, a remote location, or a client site.
