Amgen is hiring an Associate Director, Commercial Drug Products & Life Cycle Management to lead commercial drug product programs as a Drug Product Team Leader. The role manages late-stage process development, technology transfer, formulation and aseptic process design, validation, troubleshooting, regulatory submissions, product impact assessments, and continuous improvement for parenteral and/or oral solid dosage products. The Associate Director will lead a scientific team, participate in global cross-functional work, and travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time. The position requires a doctorate with three years of engineering or science experience, or an equivalent education and experience combination, plus at least three years of people-management or team-leadership experience. Preferred qualifications include pharmaceutical development, formulation and process development, regulatory and validation experience, single-use manufacturing, aseptic processing, and cGMP knowledge.
