AECOM is hiring an Associate Director – Project Architect to lead the architectural design and delivery of complex defence, research, and nuclear infrastructure projects in highly regulated environments. The role provides architectural leadership across multidisciplinary teams, coordinates design and technical documentation, translates nuclear safety and regulatory requirements into architectural solutions, manages client and stakeholder engagement, and mentors project teams. Applicants should have an accredited architecture degree, Australian architect registration or eligibility, 10–15+ years of architecture experience including leadership on complex safety-critical projects, and Australian citizenship or eligibility for AUKUS clearance. The role offers flexible full-time, part-time, job-sharing, and hybrid work arrangements.
