Alector is hiring a Protein Sciences Leader to oversee internal and external CRO protein-science activities, build antibody–oligonucleotide conjugate capabilities, manage and develop a small scientific team, and advance lead candidates through discovery and development. The role requires a PhD or equivalent experience, extensive biotechnology or pharmaceutical protein-science experience, hands-on protein production and analytical expertise, and familiarity with AI and large language models. The position is based in South San Francisco and offers flexible hybrid work options.
