The role covers environmental permits, REACH, dangerous goods, controlled substances, waste, contaminated land, chemical-weapons and biocidal regulations, and provides regulatory input to process technology, development, and research and development. It also manages compliance registers, statutory deadlines, regulator correspondence, breach notifications, inspections, training, and environmental governance. The position requires a relevant degree or equivalent experience, current DGSA certification, industrial-site regulatory compliance experience, and strong knowledge of UK environmental and chemical regulations; pharmaceutical experience and AI-enabled compliance register experience are desirable.
