HSBC is hiring an Associate Director, Software Engineering for its GTS Technology business. The role leads end-to-end engineering delivery, manages business and engineering collaboration, improves DORA metrics and delivery performance, champions agile practices, mentors engineering teams, and drives CI/CD, automation, and engineering productivity improvements. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of software engineering, delivery management, or related experience, and strong knowledge of agile, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud technologies, and stakeholder management.
