HSBC is hiring an Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist to oversee end-to-end production support for hybrid cloud and on-premises services. The role owns IT service governance, operational risk and audit readiness, Site Reliability Engineering practices, incident and problem management, patching and environment maintenance, service resilience metrics, and stakeholder coordination with business users and Finance Operations. It requires senior leadership experience in production support or service ownership, strong SRE and ITSM capabilities, and knowledge of operational governance, observability, capacity, and disaster recovery.
