Description

Avenzo Therapeutics is hiring an Associate Director, Statistical Programming to provide hands-on SAS programming leadership for clinical oncology studies, including oversight of CRO programmers, delivery of CDISC-compliant datasets and tables/listings/figures, and support for internal deliverables and regulatory submissions. The role requires strong experience in early- and late-phase oncology trials, knowledge of CDISC, SAS, ICH/FDA/GCP guidelines, and the ability to work in a fast-paced biotech environment from San Diego or remotely in the United States with periodic travel.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a medical, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of experience in the life sciences industry or equivalent combination of academic and industry experience
6+ years of statistical programming experience with early or late phase oncology trial studies
Preferred Qualifications: Technical expertise in SAS statistical analyses and strong written/verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of ICH, FDA, and GCP regulations and guidelines
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
Ability to travel up to 10% of work time
Experience in small to mid-sized biotech or pharma environments and with SOPs and standards
