AECOM is hiring an Associate Director, Structural Engineer for its Water Team in one of its UK offices, with a flexible hybrid working model. The role leads and oversees structural design for heavy civil water infrastructure, including pumping stations, water-retaining concrete structures, piled foundations, and steel-framed buildings; prepares detailed designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports; mentors team members; coordinates with clients and project stakeholders; and reviews deliverables for quality and compliance. Candidates need a civil and structural engineering degree or equivalent qualification, relevant professional membership or progress toward it, experience developing structural solutions and managing multidisciplinary technical delivery, and strong collaboration and leadership skills.
