AECOM is recruiting an Associate Director to lead the technical delivery of complex structural engineering projects for its UK & Ireland Building Engineering practice, with a focus on defence, aviation, and education projects. The role involves managing commercial and resourcing aspects, client-facing technical leadership, project reviews, mentoring, proposals, estimates, and business development. Candidates must have structural design experience, including steel and reinforced concrete and seismically qualified structures, a relevant engineering degree, chartered engineer status, and the ability to obtain a suitable security clearance. The position is based in the South West & Wales business unit, with teams in Basingstoke, Bristol, and Plymouth, and offers flexible hybrid working with regular travel to the South West of the UK or other UK offices.
