Description
Airwallex is hiring an Associate Director, Technical Finance to lead its Global Technical Accounting function within the Financial Controllership team. The role owns complex US GAAP accounting treatments, regional reporting oversight, product-launch accounting implications, technical accounting issues and estimates, the global accounting policy manual, internal controls over financial reporting, PCAOB and SOX documentation, technical memos, and the automation and AI modernization of technical accounting workflows. The position is remote based in the United States and requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least seven years of technical finance experience, deep US GAAP expertise, and knowledge of PCAOB and SOX requirements.
