Associate Editor at Canada’s National Observer

Canada’s National Observer is hiring a remote, full-time, permanent Associate Editor to manage reporters and editorial staff, supervise copy and newsletters, oversee project budgets and editorial calendars, negotiate freelance contracts, package stories, support social media, and recruit journalists and editors. The role requires at least seven years of journalism experience, leadership or management experience, strong editorial and headline-writing skills, and knowledge of politics, climate change, and disinformation.
