Description
HDR is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer for its National Electrical Engineering team in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia. The role focuses on designing and delivering medium-voltage power distribution, substation, protection, control, and related electrical infrastructure projects across sectors such as transport, utilities, industrial, defence, and data centres. The engineer will provide technical input, perform design reviews and studies, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, support project delivery and proposals, and mentor developing engineers, using tools such as ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, PowerCad, and Revit while applying Australian standards and regulatory requirements.
