Description
The City of Tracy is hiring an Associate Civil Engineer to manage complex Capital Improvement Program and land development projects from planning and design through construction. The role coordinates developers, consultants, contractors, utility agencies, and City leadership; prepares plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports; reviews and approves development and encroachment permits; administers construction and professional-service contracts; tracks grant-funded projects; and performs civil engineering studies, inspections, and public relations. The position requires an equivalent bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, two years of responsible professional engineering experience, and a valid Class C California driver’s license; a California Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer license is highly desirable.
