Description
The City is hiring an Associate Engineer to perform professional civil engineering work for capital improvement, land development, traffic, and public works projects. The role includes planning, design, construction oversight, environmental reviews, permitting, cost and schedule estimates, field investigations, contractor coordination, and public communications. It is a journey-level position requiring independent judgment, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, three years of increasingly responsible professional civil engineering experience, and a valid California driver’s license and Certificate of Registration as a Civil Engineer.
