Description
CoVolt Power is hiring an Associate Electrical Engineer to design low-, high-, and extra-high-voltage power systems, with emphasis on transmission and distribution substations. The role supports substation engineering design, coordination with project management, procurement, vendors, clients, and subcontractors, and the development of electrical, protection, control, SCADA, cable, conduit, grounding, and physical drawings. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or electrical power engineering, at least two years of transmission-level substation design experience, knowledge of applicable codes and standards, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and AutoCAD. Travel is typically 10%, and the Engineer in Training certification is preferable but not required.
