Lumilens is hiring an Associate Failure Analysis Engineer to investigate optical, electrical, and mechanical failures in advanced optical transceiver products from field deployments and production testing. The role uses schematics, test equipment, fault isolation, and design of experiments to determine root causes, assess field risks, document findings, and support R&D, supplier quality, production, and customer teams. Responsibilities also include developing test infrastructure, writing automation scripts for customer switches, and responding to technical customer inquiries. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or physics field and knowledge of analog and digital circuits, device physics, OSA assemblies, and failure analysis techniques.
