Description
Emerson is hiring a Field Engineer to support PLC and/or DCS systems from its Miami, Florida office. The role involves troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving installation, start-up, and operation issues at customer locations; directing installation and modification work; providing engineering advisory and liaison support; and maintaining customer and contractor relationships. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar technical curriculum, or relevant field engineer experience; ControlWave SCADA experience; basic networking and computer assembly or troubleshooting knowledge; and willingness to travel 70–80% to customer sites, including seasonal weekends and overnight stays. Preferred qualifications include DCS/PLC, Ovation, and power or water/wastewater treatment experience. The role offers medical, dental, and vision coverage and other benefits.
